What is eczema? That is the question. It is a basically a skin disease that is inflamed and usually comes out during and infancy and can possibly last throughout adulthood. People say that Eczema is rash that is itchy. However, it is actually an itch, and when you scratch, it produces a rash. It is good to know that this skin problem is hereditary.

It can be triggered by any contact with soaps, cosmetics, clothing, detergents, jewelry, or sweat. These substances can cause allergic reactions.

There are many theories and factors of what causes eczema. Many doctors have said that there is a weakening in the skin and its function. If there is also something wrong with the immune system, then this could be one of the main leads.

Here are some causes of eczema

*Imbalance – Low Thyroid function is a major cause of Eczema wherein the body is producing too many or too few hormones. When the function of the thyroid is low, circulation diminishes as it receives as little as one fourth of the normal blood supply. With this case there’s a result of itching and swelling of the skin.

*Digestion Problems-If there is an Intestinal Tract Dysfunction, and then this could pose a problem. The digestive system in our body needs to work well so that the nutrients can fuel our body system in the right way.

*Contamination-If the immune system in the body is contaminated or infected. Then this a serious problem because they are the ones responsible to fight off the sickness and diseases that try to get in our body. This can bring out the inflammation that comes out in our skin like Candidiasis, which is yeast-like fungus.

*Over Stressed-We have all heard that too much stress is not good, and that is simply true. When our body gets stressed physically, emotionally, or mentally; the stress hormone called cortisol comes out. Stress starts disrupting our intestinal system and eats up the good bacteria we have there. It can also stimulate the adrenal glands and burn them out, therefore causing eczema to occur.

With the above things mentioned, we can say that there are several causes of Eczema and therefore there’s no such thing as “quick fix” or “one cure” for this type of disease. One should address the causes of eczema in order to cure it, possibly with correct diet and lifestyle you can reverse it.

If you are unfortunate enough to suffer with eczema and you have just about had enough of the discomfort you experience then it’s time to start looking at the causes and make some decisions on how you can best avoid them.

Most people don’t realize that they are worsening their symptoms by doing this things, so I invite you to read on to learn what you can do to avoid flare ups. Please notice that this is by no means a complete list, but it can help you pinpoint what is causing your eczema condition.

Strawberries, nuts and many dairy products are well known foodstuffs which can cause your eczema condition to exacerbate. Shellfish and the additives in processed foods can also cause adverse reactions so when at all possible, these foods should be avoided.

There are many things that hold chemicals around you home. For example, perfumes and body lotions usually contain chemicals which can cause your eczema to flare up so once again these should be used as little as possible. Cleaning products that you use to wash your clothes should be made with natural ingredients and garments need to be thoroughly rinsed ensuring there is no residue of cleaning agents left in the fabric.

Take a look at the clothes you are wearing. Are they made from wool or polyester? These two kinds of material are renowned for bringing on flare ups of eczema so if you can wear cotton instead which will not irritate your skin you can reduce the degree of your symptoms quite considerably.

Anxiety, nervousness and stress are things that have an effect on your general health and if you are already suffering with eczema you may find these states of mind make your condition worse. Relaxing techniques are the important steps needed here to help you calm down a little.

Once you have learned about the causes of eczema it probably won’t take you long to discover a natural remedy to treat your condition. There are many for you to choose from on my website.

Eczema, a skin condition, involves appearance of rashes, welling, and itching on the face, near the mouth, and in the skin covering the arms, elbows, and knees. They are common adult skin diseases. However, they can occur in a baby’s delicate skin.

Unfortunately, baby eczema also characterizes itself through the same symptoms that adults experience. At first, this skin condition comes in the form of a rash which can then lead to cracked skin. A very itchy condition, eczema usually moves babies to scratch the affected area. Because of this, baby eczema can sometimes lead to bleeding and even infection.

There are no definite and scientifically-proven causes of eczema. However, there are verified ways that you can practice to relieve your baby from this skin condition.

The most important of these measures is the removal of potential sources of eczema. Certain items and foods can be a pool of allergens which can trigger skin rashes. Cow’s milk and eggs are among the best known foods that elicit symptoms of eczema. Wheat, soy, fish, and peanuts are also linked to increased incidence of skin rashes. Instead of giving these foods, feed your youngsters with alternative and hypoallergenic foods. Introduce these foods only at the time specified by your pediatrician. Keep your baby well-hydrated to avoid flaking of the skin.

You may also find your irritant in some of your common household chemicals. The more common household chemical irritants are found in laundry detergents, fabric softeners, nail varnish, and latex products. If you have already checked these products and are still having occurrences of eczema, then you should check some of the items you use on a regular basis. Synthetic fibers within bedding and beauty products can often be an irritant to your eczema.

Allergens tend to either be consumable or environmental in nature. Foods like nuts, berries, and dairy should always be your primary suspects. Certain foods, like peanuts and strawberries, are known to cause both internal and external eczemas.

Allergens in your home environment are sometimes more difficult to control, but not impossible. Some of the more common allergens are dust mites, pet hair and dander, mold, and mildew. Most of these can be controlled through regular cleaning, including a good quality vacuum cleaner. However, you may find that you also need an air filter to remove these allergens from your home.

You may think that there are too many potential eczema triggers in your home for you to be able to control them. However, your eczema is probably only caused by one or two triggers. Therefore, it should be easy for you to identify and remove the trigger in your home. The most effective treatment is to limit, or even avoid, exposure to your trigger.

Eczema is often confused with dry skin. In reality it is a skin condition that stems from allergies from substances that are ingested, touched, or inhaled into the body. The body attempts to get rid of the toxins which causes the allergy to manifest as an itchy rash on the skin which if scratched will begin to weep and in some cases bleed.

Below are a few tips I have put together to help you understand some common causes of eczema and what you can do about it:

Putting Your Hands On Your Face – Without really paying attention our hands meet with a variety of objects throughout the day. Some of the things may cause an irritation to your skin. It is for this reason that it is important to be extra careful to wash your hands or use a hand sanitize after coming into contact with objects that may harbor allergens.

At first trying to keep from touching your face will seem like a pain in the butt. Whatever you do – do not give up. This is a crucial part of dealing with face eczema. It is nothing more than a habit and psychological studies have proven that it takes approximately thirty days to change a habit.

Little To No Moisture In The Skin – Dry skin leads to itching, which will cause you to scratch and break the top layer of skin. The opening in the skin and the constant scratching could lead to and infection.

Since the skin on the face is exposed more to environmental elements, which all contribute to drying and disturbing the balance of the skin. It is recommended that you use a dermatologically tested skin moisturizer, which does not contain any type of perfumes and parabens which are extremely harmful to your skin. I also recommend that you moisturize your skin at least once a day.

Eating Habits – The substance that we put into our bodies are responsible for our health and skin condition. Although there are a ton of foods that have negative effects on the skin, eczema sufferers have to be extra cautious.

In most cases eczema sufferers already know which foods they are allergic to. However there are a few others that you need to be aware of as well. The foods that I am referring to are, heavily spiced foods, processed foods that contain an abundance of additives, preservatives, and foods which contain mono-sodium-glutamate and an excessive alcohol intake.

When planning your diet your goal should be to maintain a balanced diet and to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, because they consist of the required minerals and vitamins such as Vitamin C, which contains properties that aid the skin in the regeneration process.

It is important for you to understand that this article isn’t meant to be the end all be all of your eczema problems. It is however meant to give you a few suggestions that you could implement quickly and that will help you along the road to curing your eczema. There are several other things that you can do to cure your face eczema. For more answers to your questions visit my blog. You will also find information on other related skin care conditions.

In most cases face eczema is often mistaken for dry skin. Some people in the medical professionals have even mislabeled eczema as a disease. The reality of it is it’s a skin condition which stems from allergies from substances that are ingested, touched, and or inhaled. Your body attempts to heal itself which in turn results in an itchy rash which surfaces on the skin. It is important for you to understand that eczema starts from the inside of your body.

At first it will be a challenge for you not to touch your face. Don’t give up attempting to break yourself of this task. Studies have proven that it takes thirty days to break a habit. Again I must say don’t give up, this is an important part of living with eczema and will take a lot of work.

No Moisture In The Skin – No moisture is the beginning of the chain reaction. Dry skin leads to itching, which leads to you scratching and breaking the top layer of the skin. Between the opening in the skin and the constant itching and scratching chances are you will get an infection.

<!--

I also recommend that you moisturize your skin at least once a day.

Importance of Eating Habits – It is crucial that you understand that whatever you put into your body effects your health as well as your skin condition. You must beware of the foods ingested as well as the negative effects that it can cause on the skin.

In most cases that I have encountered eczema sufferers are well aware of the foods that they are allergic to. Studies show that most individuals living with eczema weren’t aware of a few other foods that could cause their eczema to flair up. Those foods are, spiced foods, processed foods that contain certain additives, preservatives, and foods which contain mono-sodium-glutamate as well as an excessive alcohol intake.

As far as your daily diet is concerned your goal should be to keep a balanced diet and to eat a healthy portion of fruits and vegetables. This diet consists of the required minerals and vitamins such as Vitamin C, which contain properties that aid the skin in the regeneration process.

Keep in mind that this article is only meant to give you a few quick tips that you can implement rapidly to start getting rid of the eczema on your face.
