Greed, and the competition for market share induces pharmaceutical companies to launch untested products in the market. These untested products can have a number of side effects, some of which can cause permanent damage. Case in point: Accutane – the popular anti acne drug, which was touted as the magical cure for acne. It was manufactured by Hoffman La Roche – one of the industry giants.

There are many acne treatment products available today. When I used to have acne I tried many of them, over the past few years much hasn’t changed in this product treatment space. The products are still the same for the most part even though they may claim to be “new and improved” and it seems that the “new products” are just re-packaged old products with the same ingredients but with a different name on the label.

Soda is a popular drink in our culture today and many people are drinking it and even replacing water with it. Soda is a combination of carbonated water, sugar, caffeine and dye’s. Many skincare professionals such as dermatologists will say that what you eat or drink doesn’t cause acne or pimples but if you start changing your diet your skin will break out more or begin to clear up. Have you ever noticed that? I have noticed that and I know that food and drinks effect acne so clearly what you ingest effects if you have acne or not.
